Head Gasket Compression #'s using Wiseco pistons. Comp ratios will be different if you mill the cylinder head or deck the block.

  • .030 will be stock 9.1 to 1
  • .045 will be approx 8.9 to 1
  • .051 will be approx 8.8 to 1
  • .060 will be approx 8.6 to 1
  • .074 will be approx 8.4 to 1

K1 Long rod and Wiseco 8.8 to 1 Compression .020 overbore

  • Everything you need to do a complete performance shortblock build from the FS experts!
  • Improves rod ratio from 1.467 to 1.491
  • WHAT THIS MEANS:: A higher rod ratio cause the pistons move from TDC slower, the entire bottom end absorbs less mechanical stress.
  • Only available with .020 overbore pistons, 8.8 compression for those wanting to boost high on a larger turbo

TECH TIP:
Used blocks are better for built motors because the metals have been heat cycled and any distortions from heat have already occured. These thousandths of an inch changes can affect a high performance build.

Valvetrain
Valve Seals Kit
  • 16 new viton rubber valve seals
  • These come in our spring/retainer kits already, you only need this if you are needing replacement seals.
  • Single/Stock fits factory valvetrain and single spring upgrades
  • Dual fits dual spring upgrades and require bronze

TECH TIP:
If you are building an engine (short block), and do not plan on building the head, get this at the very least to refresh your valve seals so they will be new like the rest of your engine. If you skip on this your valve seals may leak in the future. This is a cheap insurance so you won't have to do this later and rip the cylinder head off again.
